Description

The Olympiad is a competition in visual art, photography, dance, vocal music, piano, acting, poetry and short story sponsored by the West Valley/Mission Colleges Foundation. All high school and lower division college students in Santa Clara County, CA are eligible to enter. The goal of the Olympiad is to encourage, recognize, and reward the dedication of student artists in our community. Over $6,000 in monetary prizes are awarded.

The competition begins in March and culminates with the awards ceremony in May complete with performances by the winners, a slide show of winning art and photography, and a booklet of the winning creative writing entries.

The Olympiad is supported in part with additional funding from Arts Council Silicon Valley, the Saratoga Rotary Art Show, and West Valley Mission Community College District.
