Description
Olympia Community School (OCS) is an independent, secular and nonprofit K-5th grade school. At OCS, children develop confidence through academic and creative achievement. While acquisition of basic skills is essential to future success, we also believe that children deserve the opportunity to fully explore studies related to their own inherent abilities and interests. To do so at an early age helps children to value their own perceptions and to find self-determined paths in learning and in life that are fulfilling and productive. We also believe that encouraging imagination and creative expression is essential in helping children to reach their full potential for learning and happiness. OCS has been in business since 1973.
