Description

Old Westbury Gardens is a 195 acre public garden and an historic house, Westbury House, listed on the National Historic Register. The house was built in 1905 by Jay S. and Margarita Grace Phipps. It was ranked as one of the top ten World's Most Beautiful Public Gardens by a panel of horticultural experts assembled by Forbest Traveler. The Gardens include a pinetum, lilac and day lily collections, a walled garden, a rose garden and natural areas.
