Description
This school is located in Menlo Park, CA. Low income individuals are taught in classroom and hands on training from administrative skills to construction or working in a cafeteria type kitchen.
Each day the kitchen teaches individuals to prepare food, then delivers the food to the local VA Hospital.
Students are encouraged to work with each other as a team and are recognized by the school during bi-monthly school assemblies.
Individuals are counseled and assisted with job locations. They are also encouraged to volunteer and help out at the school to enhance their skills.
