Description
The Odyssey School serves 224 students as a K-8 charter school in northeast Denver. We follow the Expeditionary Learning model, focused on hands-on, project-based, long-term expeditions into relevant topics. Our learning community consists of our students, our 28 teachers and support staff, our 14 board members, and our 160+ families. Odyssey truly reflects Denver’s populace with people of color comprising 50% of the student body, while 34% of students qualify for free/reduced lunches.
Odyssey’s approach is succeeding: we rank in the top 2% of elementary and top 8% of middle schools in Colorado. Denver Public Schools reports “students at Odyssey are performing exceptionally well.”
