Odyssey House Louisiana, Inc. (OHL) is a behavioral healthcare provider with an emphasis on addiction treatment. For 33 years, OHL has operated a residential substance abuse treatment facility for men and women 18 years or older in New Orleans. The substance abuse treatment program is designed in the framework of a therapeutic community, a structured method and environment for changing human behavior in the context of community life and responsibility.
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, OHL has recently expanded its historical mission to provide services to other special needs populations.
While OHL has been in operation for 33 years, its historic facility has been continuously providing social services to the New Orleans community since 1866.
OHL provides a continuum of care for substance abuse treatment. Our clients are provided with quality healthcare and psychiatric services in all stages of their recovery.
