Description
The Oakwood Christian School was established in 1992 to provide children with a quality academic program founded upon Biblical principles and the Christian world view. OCS exists to serve the families of the local community, providing the kind of education the Bible commands.
Martin Luther stated that the schools would become the very gates of hell, unless the Scriptures were taught. He went on to note that no parent should place his children where the Bible was not used.
OCS exists to help the parent obey the Scripture charge:
" Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he shall not depart from it. "
