Organization: The Oakland Fukuoka Sister City Association (OFSCA) is a 44 year-old non-profit 501(c)(3) organization composed completely of volunteers. We have no paid staff. OFSCA is affiliated with Sister Cities International, an organization that has assisted more than 675 U.S. cities in establishing links with over 1,454 communities in 121 countries around the world.
Mission Statement: Our purpose is to foster and promote cultural awareness, understanding and friendship between the people and cities of Oakland and Fukuoka.
