Description
k-5th grade, with a high population of Hispanic children who are learning English as their second language while taking on Science, Math, Reading and Writing! The teachers and administration are very challenged here, due to the childrens' struggle for support in the home with regards to their studies, etc. (due to parents who don't speak english)
The school needs financial support due to the "No child gets a dime" National Policy and, where other schools may be able to fundraise through parent driven events, Oakhill is "supported" by very low income families.
Any charity donations will help support the hard working staff and the deserving, bright-eyed students of Oakhill Elementary School.
