Nuru International is a unique new organization at the crossroads of innovation and extreme poverty. Nuru exists to eradicate extreme poverty by holistically empowering rural communities to achieve self-sufficiency and inspiring the developed world to confront the crisis of extreme poverty.
Nuru works with communities to design innovative, sustainable solutions in agriculture, healthcare, water & sanitation, education, and small business development that enable the community to lift themselves out of extreme poverty permanently.
Nuru is currently on the ground beginning work in their pilot project in the Kuria District of Kenya that will radically change the lives of the community's 5,000 members forever.
