NFP's mission is to support charitable, educational, and research ventures that improve health and advance the nursing profession.NFP's vision is to be the premier charitable organization for professional nurses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. NFP's goal is to advance the educational and professional standards ofnurses and the nursing profession through: (1) grants and scholarships for study, instruction, research, and scholarly pursuits in nursing, (2) financial support of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association's (PSNA's) efforts to provide continuing education and other opportunities for Pennsylvania's registered nurses, and (3) operational support for NFP's work to ensure its perpetuity for the nursing profession.
