Northwest Family Life began in 1989 as a direct response to a gap in services provided to Christians facing domestic violence. What began as a program-based educational format has evolved into a treatment focused facility offering intervention for perpetrators and advocacy for adult and child survivors.
There is absolutely no room for violence or abuse in the family. Yet we know that it occurs as often in religious circles as anywhere else. For this reason we exist
The mission of Northwest Family Life is “to assist individuals and families in finding hope and healing when faced with the pain of domestic violence and related issues.” We come along side those who are willing to make changes in their destructive relationships. It is very difficult to face the pain, and to make public what has happened behind closed doors. It involves taking responsibility for those behaviors, and making changes that endure. Difficult, but not impossible!
