Description
In February of 2011, forty Northeastern Students and staff members traveled to two rural Dominican villages, Cruz Verde and Mata Los Indios, to study business solutions to poverty. Now our goal is to raise $25,000 to provide loans to Dominican and Haitian entrepreneurs living in extreme poverty through the Esperanza International organization. This organization has been distributing small loans to impoverished entrepreneurs in the Dominican Republic for over 15 years. With your help we can provide, not only financial services, but also health, educational and social services to Dominican families and their communities.
