Description
NESCCAF (Northeast States Center for a Clean Air Future) provides the Northeast air quality regulators an opportunity to collaborate with private enterprise, local government, academic institutions, and other non-profits on leading-edge research, outreach, and demonstration projects.
NESCCAF and the work of its parent organization, Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM) directly benefits the 42 million individuals who live and work in CT, ME, MA, NH, NJ, NY, RI, and VT. In the Northeast, NESCCAF sponsors the award winning Clean Air Communities (CAC) initiative and the Northeast Diesel Collaborative (NEDC). We also engage in projects outside the northeastern United States in collaboration with agencies in other states and the Canadian Provinces.
Both organizations serve as forward-thinking resources for the states and the nation in protecting the environment and public health from the adverse effects of air pollution and climate change
