The North Dakota Farm Bureau Foundation is a non-profit for educational and scientific purposes. The purposes of the Foundation are:
1) To conduct research, educate and provide public information regarding farm and ranch safety; issues affecting rural schools and agricultural communities; and the operation of farms and ranches to increase the quality of life for farmers and ranchers in North Dakota and elsewhere;
2) To provide education and assistance to increase the knowledge level of issues facing farmers and ranchers in North Dakota and elsewhere;
3) To assist other charitable and educational organizations in the conduct of similar activities.
Currently, the Foundation provides several scholarships, works with agricultural literacy and farm/ranch safety programs, programs for young farmers and ranchers and collegiate programs.
