Description
A mission of the North Coast District of The United Methodist Church, The mission functions as a housing and receiving center in Cleveland, Ohio that brings mission work teams in from all over the world to rebuild the city. Projects include construction of wheelchair ramps, porch repair, house painting, landscaping, drywall repair, general fix up and repair work. Projects are acquired by referrals from churches, social agencies, local government, and community development groups. Approximately 600 missionaries work through the center each year, completing between 45 and 60 projects in private homes, churches, and in public areas of the inner city communities.
