Description
NACAC's mission is to ensure that every child has the right to a permanent, nurturing, and culturally sensitive family. For 33 years, NACAC has worked to inform the public about the more than 114,000 foster children who need a loving home of their own. We help prospective adopters learn about adoption and about the special needs of waiting children, many of whom have been abused or neglected. We help families find the resources to adopt and provide one-on-one support to adoptive families in need. Our annual conference brings together parents and professionals to exchange vital information about adoption, and we advocate to improve the child welfare system.
