Description
A non-profit out-patient center for people with special needs, including those with autism, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, behavioral and emotional disturbance. Live, interactive music by certified music therapists is employed to enhance communication, socialization and a general sense of well-being. World-reknowned, therapists come to study our particular approach while working with staff. While housed at NYU, the Center receives minimal monetary support, and is experiencing financial difficulties common to many non-profits.
