Nick Gonzales Foundation for Brain Tumor Research

The Nick Gonzales Foundation was established in June 2007 by his mother, Cindy Villarreal, after the loss of her oldest son Nick Gonzales to a glioblastoma brain tumor (GBM). The Foundation's goals are to increase awareness of the early warning signs of brain tumors and raise funds for an annual research grant and other research projects specifically targeting brain tumors. Since it's inception just 2 years ago, the Foundation has raised and funded over $75,000 in research projects. The Foundation's largest fundraiser is an annual charity golf tournament held in the Dallas Fort Worth area each May. Please visit for more details and ways you can help.
