Description
The Tri-County Child Advocacy Center is a non-threatening, child-friendly environment designed to minimize the trauma for child victims of sexual or several physical abuse. The Child Advocacy Center is used by a Mulit-Disciplinary Investigative Team (MDIT)to interview child victims. The child victim is interviewed by a trained forensic interviewer while the MDIT members observe the interview from the observation room. This minimizes the stress children experience from multiple interviews.
