Description
Since 1987, the Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service has "given the blind a chance to read," throughout Western New York-- including Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service volunteers broadcast daily readings of newspapers, books, magazines and vital community information to area blind and print-handicapped persons, who are provided special "reading radios." The NFRRS has been regarded the finest radio reading service for the blind in New York State. The NFRRS is on-the-air 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service volunteers have broadcast nearly 200,000 hours of printed matter readings to our neighbors without sight.
