Newbridge Place's mission is to improve the quality of it's residents' life by promoting recovery in a safe and clean living environment by providing support and activities that are designed to improve the client's mental, physical and social well being.
Newbridge Place provides 24 hour care and long term housing to people who live with chronic mental illnesses whose independent functioning is impaired. Residents typically suffer from severe and persistent mental illnesses such as paranoid schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, major affective disorders, and PTSD. Many of the individuals served are dual diagnosed with drug and alcohol dependence and/ or suffer from physical limitations. Newbridge Place's mission is to improve the quality of its residents' life by providing a safe, clean, and friendly living environment and by providing leisure activities and programs that are designed to improve the client's mental, physical, and social well-being. Newbridge Place is the only residential home of its kind serving this specific population in Medina County. Due to the unique 24- hour staffing, training, and dedication to this population, many of the residents succeed to or maintain more independent living, whereas they failed in other facilities and are at greater risk of hospitalizations, jail, or homelessness.
