The New York State PTA® is an affiliate of the National PTA and is incorporated as a not for profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with approximately 360,000 members. It’s operations are designed and delivered exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. With a history of parent-teacher collaboration that goes back to 1897, the New York State PTA® became the first State Congress of Parents and Teachers in the Nation.
