The New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus (NJGMC) is a volunteer chorus drawing from communities in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Established in 1991 as the Delaware Valley Men's Chorus, it was renamed in July 1996.
The mission of the New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus is:
To explore a choral repertoire while striving for musical excellence in all performances.
To prepare and conduct concerts and charity events for the general public focusing on the performance of choral music.
To use music to bring together the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual communities with the aim to reduce prejudice and discrimination.
To create opportunities to present a positive image of the gay community to society and make a positive contribution to the entire community.
