Description
New Hope Charities is a 501(3)(c) non-profit dedicated to serving the communities of western Palm Beach County since 1988.
Our "one-stop" center is in Pahokee, Florida, the 2nd poorest city in the U. S. An estimated 40% of the area children live below the national poverty line.
Our center serves indigent families from economic and cultural situations that make them "At Risk" for continued poverty, high unemployment, school drop-out, gang relations, substance abuse, pregnancy and health problems. We offer free daycare, out-of-school care, food distribution, literacy classes, and a health clinic.
Our holistic approach reinforces the values, the principals and the knowledge learned in our programs throughout the family unit. Therefore, the entire family is included in and supported by our programs. As a result, we are positively affecting the whole community.
