Mission effort in the Peten Jungle region in Guatemala. Hospital Shalom Peten is open and operating 24/7 offering. New Covenant has been ministering to the needs of the indigenous people of Guatemala by providing excellent health care and the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since 1996 Tim & Doris Spurrier have headed a team that was able to open a state of the art hospital hospital in 2006. By providing healthcare for the body, education for the soul, and hope for the spirit, our goal is to address the various areas that keep the wonderful Guatemalan people from reaching their full potential.
