Description
New City Parish is an urban coalition of seven congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) located in Los Angeles, Inglewood, and Compton California. Our collaborative approach focuses on the transformation of our communities through holistic ministries and social outreach. The focus of New City Parish (NCP) is to proclaim a message of hope and advocate for the poor & marginalized, to teach people how to think critically for themselves, and to heal and comfort those who are hungry and suffering in our inner-city communities.
