Mission
The established mission is to preserve and promote the social, cultural and architectural heritage of New Bern and Craven County. This mission is accomplished through:
Sponsoring educational programs, events, scholarships and publications
Preserving historically or architecturally significant structures and sites
Collecting, preserving and exhibiting historical artifacts relevant to New Bern and Craven County
Facilitating historically focused activities and promoting heritage tourism
