Established in 2002 to provide social service assistance, patient disease education, and financial assistance to individuals with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease. multiple sclerosis, ALS and muscular dystrophy.
Social workers assist individuals with acccess to federal, state and local assistance programs. They provide information regarding free or low cost medications and durable medical equipment.
The Foundation also has a patient assistance fund to assist with financial emergencies providing money for food, rent, medical bills, etc.
