Description
Since 1993, the mission of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation is to work side by side with the medical community in providing social, emotional, educational, and psychological support services to families of ALL children who are diagnosed with a life threatening or critical illness such as Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Sickle Cell, Hemophilia, Renal Disease, and other immunologic diseases. We provide hope, courage, comfort, and support while empowering and educating families. The Foundation continually identifies the voids that exist in the community in helping families with critically ill children. When the devastation of a life threatening diagnosis affects a family, the Foundation is involved from the beginning with support to the ill child, their siblings, and parents.
The Nevada Childhood Cancer foundation has worked with over 1,000 families.
