Description
The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship's New England program office partners with schools and community-based organizations in the region to teach entrepreneurship to young people from low-income communities. Using our award-winning curriculum, NFTE-certified educators teach business concepts to students and provide experiential activities that engage students in preparing for their own financial independence. Volunteers from the business community serve as guest speakers and coaches as each student devises a unique business concept and crafts a business plan for presentation. The program culminates in business-plan competitions, judged by volunteers from the business community, where students can compete for seed money to support their businesses or further education.
