Description

The Neighborhood Christian Center provides free after school tutoring to over 100 students in Jackson, Mississippi. NCC also hosts summer enrichment and performing arts camps for nearly 200 students and annually distributes over 500 food boxes to needy families every holiday season. Our primary mission is to develop a relationship with our neighbors in need, allowing for an effective presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and an opportunity to give our neighbors a spiritual as well as a practical foundation on which they can build their lives.
Neighborhood: located in the community we serve, we are a beacon of hope within the inner city community.
Christian: we share Christ's love through caring for the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the poor.
Center: we are a center of restoration, equipping the body of Christ to use its gifts to bring hope to its communtity.
