Description
The Neighborhood Alliance of New London is an umbrella group of the many neighborhoods throughout the city. Various neighborhoods formed associations in the 1980s and 1990s to address various needs. The Alliance was created to address the shared needs of these neighborhoods.
The Neighborhood Alliance brings various groups together for the purpose of discussions, social events, and issue advocacy.
The Neighborhood Alliance is a representative body, with one member from each neighborhood. The Alliance is not a political body - it attempts to do its work by consensus.
