Description
The Nehemiah Center is a Christian-based organization that offers academic, emotional, cultural, social and spiritual enrichment to children and families in the inner city area of Houston. Our mission is "Neighbors helping neighbors create a safe haven in which children are motivated, inspired and equipped to realize their God-given potential. From a Pre-K program to our Academic Enrichment Program and the College Prep Program, we reach children from 3 to 17 years of age. In addition, we work with families and extended families to create a framework of support which initiates true healing and restoration.
