Read the label on any bottle of aspirin and you will see the Reye's Syndrome warning. For 37 years we have been keeping children and young adults safe.
Reye's Syndrome is a deadly disease. It strikes swiftly and can attack any child or adult without warning. All body organs are affected, with the liver and brain suffering most seriously.
While the cause and cure remain unknown, research has established a link between Reye's Syndrome and the use of aspirin and other salicylate containing medications.
The National Reye's Syndrome Foundation is committed to providing Awareness about Reye's Syndrome, providing funding for research into Reye's Syndrome, and servicing the families of victims of Reye's Syndrome.
