Description
The National Organization for Renal Disease (NORD) was founded to provide preventive health information to individuals who have limited health insurance coverage or access to health care and are high risk of developing renal disease and its precursors, diabetes and hypertension. The organization’s mission is to monitor and treat these illnesses before they progress to the life altering stages of permanent kidney failure, dialysis or renal transplantation.
