Description

To educate and preserve the maritime heritage of lighthouses nationwide. The National Lighthouse Museum will be established at the old US Lighthouse "SUPER" Depot, located on Staten Island next to the SI Ferry Terminal. The historic 19th. & 20th. century structures on the property provide an ideal setting for exhibits, research and programs relating to the history of the United States Lighthouse Service.
