Description

The mission of the National Kidney Foundation of North Texas is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.

The National Kidney Foundation of North Texas will:
•Help people at risk to prevent/postpone kidney failure through screenings & education
•Provide education & services to patients with kidney/urinary tract diseases
•Promote organ donation by educating the public
•Educate the public about kidney & urinary tract diseases
•Support the continuing education of health professionals
•Support research for kidney/urinary tract diseases
•Help to shape health policy in Texas

Programs include:
•Free KEEP (Kidney Early Evaluation Program) screenings
•Educational seminars for patients & professionals
•Camp Reynal for children with kidney disease
•Medical Research
