The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan is a 501c3 not for profit whose mission is to prevent kidney disease and improve the quality of life for those living with it. The NKFM offers more programs and services to more people than any other NKF affiliate in the country. In 2005, the NKFM directly served more than 132,000 people in Michigan. In 2003, the NKFM was named best managed non-profit by Crain's Detroit Business.
