Description
The National Inhalant Prevention Coalition (NIPC) is a national nonprofit organization with the goal of reducing and preventing inhalant use and abuse. To achieve its goals, the NIPC provides resources, a grief support network, technical assistance, training & workshops and electronic newsletters. The NIPC established and leads National Inhalants & Poisons Awareness Week (NIPAW) an annual public health awareness campaign that fosters community involvement and raises awareness about the dangers of the intentional misuse (via inhalation) of common household, school and office products. The NIPC also maintains a toll free hotline (800/269 – 4237). All NIPC resources are available at no or minimal cost.
