NICWA is dedicated to the well-being of American Indian children and families. We are the only national American Indian organization specifically focused on empowering and building Indian Country’s capacity to prevent child abuse and neglect. Our work is driven by the belief that every Indian child should have access to community-based, culturally appropriate services, which help them grow up safe, healthy, and spiritually strong.
