Description
The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) is the only cultural center of its kind in the United States - regarded as a national focal point dedicated to the study, advancement, and presentation of Hispanic culture, arts, and humanities. The NHCC provides cultural opportunities to people in Albuquerque and across the nation through its programming in visual, performing, history and literary arts, and education.
The NHCC Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) established in 1983, in order: to raise the funds necessary to complete the construction of the NHCC campus, support its programming needs, and build a legacy for future generations. In order to achieve this charge the NHCC Foundation also recognizes the mission of the NHCC: to identify, preserve, and enhance Hispanic arts and humanities.
