Description
NFCB is a 31-year old grassroots organization of non-commercial, public radio stations that are distinguished by their community support, local control and programming. As the sole national membership and service organization for Community Radio, NFCB advocates for fair media policies and resources; promotes the inclusion and empowerment of women, people of color, Native Americans, Alaska Natives, and youth in radio; and provides training and support for emerging and established, community, independent and low-power radio stations.
