Description

The NFDF is organized to support the Fabry disease community with education, patient identification, assistance, research and advocacy. Fabry disease is a progressive, destructive and life-threatening genetic disorder that is severely underdiagnosed. Without increased efforts to support the Fabry community, children will continue to live a diminished quality of life and adults will continue to have a shortened life-span due to heart attacks, strokes and kidney failure.
