The NDF is dedicated to the eradication of the hospital-caused bedsore (decubitus ulcer). This is accomplished through public education, urging of hospital standards, and research into the fundamental mechanism of bedsore formation. The NDF website provides a forum where victims and their families can obtain advice from medical professionals and fellow sufferers.
