Description
The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) is the oldest multi-disciplinary family organization in the U.S.. It is a non-profit organization of professionals who work in the multi-faceted areas of the family field.
Two internationally acclaimed journals Family Relations: Interdisciplinary Journal of Applied Family Studies, and Journal of Marriage and Family, are produced by the NCFR. JMF is rated among the top 5 social science research journals in America.

To provide an educational forum for family researchers, educators, and practitioners to share in the development and dissemination of knowledge about families and family relationships, establish professional standards, and work to promote family well-being.
