Description
National Committee for the New River's (NCNR)vision is a fully protected New River as a treasured national resource. NCNR protects North America's oldest river through land prtection efforts that include fee simple purchases or permanent conservation easements with willing landowners, by restorating degraded or eroding riparian buffers and streambanks, and by working with local citizens to face threats to the River's scenic and natural beauty and water quality.
