Description

Since 1977, the National Center on Institutions and Alternatives (NCIA) has worked to break the destructive cycle often associated with the human service and correctional system. We provide individual care, concern and treatment for emotionally disturbed youth, developmentally disabled adults and adolescents and for those in the criminal justice system. We do this trough programs, individualized services, research, training and technical assistance in the areas of mental health, education, criminal justice and advocacy.
