Description
Nami Will-Grundy is a not-for-profit organization that offers support, education, and advocacy for individuals with mental illnesses and their families. We primarily serve individuals who live in the Will County, Illinois area, but we welcome anyone, regardless of where they live or work. Nami Will-Grundy is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and NAMI Illinois.
The mission statement of NAMI Will County is to reduce the loneliness and isolation inherent in mental illness through the empowerment and strengthening of individuals and families affected by the disease with advocacy, education, and support. Through the advocacy efforts of NAMI Will County, communities thrive without the stigma associated with mental illness so all those in need can readily identify and utilize available educational resources and support. We are an accredited affiliate of the national NAMI organization and NAMI Illinois.
