Description
NAMI West Houston reaches out to people and families affected by mental illness in the West Houston area by providing education and support.. Mental illness is treatable. Our volunteers are dedicated to helping those affected find effective treatment. We are 100% volunteer.
Our FREE 12-week classes cover the brain, medications, crises, record organization, communication and the like. Illnesses covered include ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, schizophrenia and others.
Our FREE support groups provide a network where people can share expenences and learn from each other.
NAMI West Houston is a 503 c(1) non- profit organization, affiliated with NAMI, NAMI Texas and NAMI Metropolitan Houston.
